As part of Priceline.com’s former Name Your Own Price system, Dom & Tom worked with the Priceline.com team to build the first-of-its-kind Flight Finder App that allowed users to search and book flights in less than two minutes direct from their iPhone.

Dom & Tom worked with the Priceline.com product development and design team to create the Flight Finder iPhone application, a first-of-its-kind in the travel industry. The Flight Finder application allowed users to search and book flights direct from the iPhone app.

The Priceline.com team entrusted Dom & Tom to expand their digital offerings by creating a tool that would integrate their comprehensive API. The goal was to build an iPhone application that would allow its users to search, find, and easily book domestic and international flights all in the palm of their hands.

The Dom & Tom team spent time reviewing Priceline.com’s API documentation, which was one of the finest and most complete they had ever seen, to be able to make recommendations and set the iOS development plan with the Priceline.com team. With a wealth of knowledge and experience in optimizing applications for consumer consumption, the Dom & Tom team designed and constructed the front-end technology necessary to read Priceline’s API to display relevant information in a way that was easy for users to read and understand. The app features include push notifications, advanced search, and instantaneous flight ­booking capabilities.

Utilizing Priceline.com’s API, users were able to book a flight in two minutes or less. The API was one of the most robust and complex backend systems that Dom & Tom had worked with to date.
The Priceline.com Flight Finder app debuted in the Apple store and quickly received over 200,000 reviews with an average of 4.5 stars.
